Loved the beautifully upcycled furniture in the garden and terrace. The restaurant and bar provided a great excuse to have a drink or two without leaving the hotel. The free WiFi allowed me to check my social media while sipping cocktails.
No sockets for my phone, but who needs to charge their phone when there are more important things like cocktails to enjoy?

The hotel's location is perfect, just across the road from the old town and a short walk to the seafront and The Turner Contemporary. Additionally, the room was stunningly decorated with a beautiful and comfy bed. The general facilities were amazing, with a range of separate bathrooms, shower rooms, and toilets available.
The Sunday roast in the pub was the worst I've ever had.

The hotel had a fantastic location right by the seafront, which made it convenient for enjoying the beach and exploring the town. the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always there when you needed them but never intrusive. the hotel had a great selection of drinks, and the atmosphere was wonderful, even after hosting a wedding the night before. the rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a mini bar room that felt special.
The lack of lunch options on the menu. It would have been nice to have some traditional favorites like a ploughman's lunch or toasted sandwiches.

I stayed at The George & Heart House for a weekend getaway. The hotel is a work of art, with beautifully upcycled furniture and bespoke decor. From the gold leaf effect on the plaster walls to the wonky wooden floorboards, every detail was stunning. Our room was sumptuously decorated with palm leaves and gold accents, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shared bathroom was to die for, with plants and a huge walk-in shower. The residents bar was well-stocked and cozy, and the continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect, with the old town and seafront just steps away.
Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms at The George & Heart House were cozy and comfortable, with a nice seating area and a flat-screen TV. It felt like a home away from home, especially with the fully equipped kitchen that had a fridge and a toaster. The electric kettle and kitchenware were a nice touch too.
I personally didn't use the private bathroom in my room, but I can see how some guests might find it a bit small.
